You may give online to an existing scholarship. IU Southeast has many scholarship accounts available for multi-donor support. If you have questions please contact the Office of Development and we would be happy to assist you.

Establish a Scholarship Fund at IU Southeast

Establishing a scholarship is one of the most meaningful ways to ensure that deserving students will have the opportunity to receive a quality education at IU Southeast, regardless of their financial circumstances. When you fund a scholarship, you help these students realize their dreams of obtaining a college education.

Your scholarship fund can be established in your own name or perhaps in the name of a relative or loved one you may wish to honor. The IU Southeast Development staff will work with you to create scholarship criteria which might include the student's major, activities, GPA and so forth.

Creating an endowed scholarship is truly the gift that keeps giving. Instead of the entire amount of the donation being used for scholarships, the total amount of the gift is invested. Each year, a portion of the investment’s earnings are given to students in the form of scholarships while the remainder is added to the original principal. At IU Southeast, endowments are established for a minimum of $10,000 and can be funded by one or more donors.

IU Southeast Alumni Scholarship Give to Alumni Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate or graduate scholarships.
IU Southeast Athletic Scholarships Give to IUS Athletic Scholarships This account is used to support scholarships in athletics.
Dr. Claude D. Baker Scholarship A Call to Service from Steven P. Moberly Give to Dr. Claude D. Baker Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipients must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA, and must be a full-time undergraduate biology major (junior or senior) at IU Southeast. Consideration may be given to a student with lower GPA but with an exceptional service record (service must be documented). Preference is given to pre-professional students (pre-medical, pre-dental, or graduate school).
IU Southeast Men's Baseball Scholarships Give to Men's Baseball Scholarships This account is used to support men's baseball scholarships in athletics.
Carol Bishop Scholarship Fund This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipients must be a literature major in English. Must have taken 2 courses in literature, one at 300 level. Registered in at least 6 hours a semester. Minimum 3.0 GPA overall, minimum 3.5 GPA in major.
John P. Briscoe Scholarship Fund This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Concentration in business management and above average scholarship in 6 hours statistics and 3 hours production.
Joseph S. Chalfant MBA Excellence Fund This fund is used for general support of the graduate business program at IU Southeast.
Chancellor's Medallion Endowment Fund Give to Chancellor Medallion Fund This account is used to support and maintain a scholarship at IU Southeast to be known as the Chancellor's Medallion Scholarship.
Frank C. Denzinger Memorial Law Enforcement Fund This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at IU Southeast. Preference given to an individual who is (1) currently employed as a full-time law enforcement officer, corrections officer or jail officer, (2) the son or daughter of an individual who is currently employed (or has retired, in good standing) as a full-time law enforcement officer, corrections officer or jail officer. Student must be enrolled full or part-time at IU Southeast.
Frank C. Denzinger Scholarship in Criminal Justice This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. The recipient must be currently employed as a full-time law enforcement officer, corrections officer or jail officer within Clark, Floyd, or Harrison counties with at least 2 years of full-time work experience. The recipient must be enrolled in either full-time or part-time studies at IU Southeast pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Preference will be given to those candidates who are civic minded and committed to making his or her community a safer place. The scholarship is renewable.
Dr. Marianne V. Felton Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipient must be a junior or senior economics major (BA or BEPP) with a GPA of 3.3 or higher. Preference will be given to a student intending to pursue graduate work in economics.
Bill Forsyth Scholarship Give to Bill Forsyth Scholarship This account supports scholarships for seniors in the health professions or biologic sciences who are candidates for graduate school, based on program involvement and academic standing according to the following criteria: only 1 scholarship to be given each year, must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours with senior standing, and must have at least a 3.5 GPA. Preference will be given to pre-professional students: Graduate School, Pre-dental, Pre-medical, or pre-veterinary. The recipient must be majoring in Biology (no double majors), and preference will be given to students that have undergraduate research or laboratory teaching experience.
Linda C. Gugin Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. For students pursuing a bachelor of arts in political science. Recipients must have completed at least 26 hours and 9 hours inpPolitical science. Minimum GPA of 3.0, preferece will be given to students who are active in a campus or community organization that works for the betterment of the campus or community. Scholarship may be awarded more than once to a recipient. Need may be considered but will not be a determining factor.
W. Fred Hale Memorial Scholarship Fund This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipients must be residents of Clark County or Floyd County, Indiana, must be junior or senior students at IU Southeast, seeking a general studies degree, and must be non-traditional students (over age 22). GPA will also be taken into consideration in choosing recipients.
Lee H. Hamilton Scholars Fund This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. This fund supports the Lee Hamilton Scholars program, which includes activities such as internships, scholarships, and other scholarly pursuits. The following criteria is used to select participants in this program: the recipient must be a current resident of the Indiana Ninth Congressional District or the Kentucky counties served by IU Southeast through the Indiana reciprocity agreement, and recipients must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Awards are based on some evidence of campus or community service and potential for future leadership. Financial need may be considered, but will not be a determining factor in determining the recipients.
Rebecca Ann Jennings Memorial Fund This fund is used to support an annual award for an outstanding art student at IU Southeast. The winner will be selected by the faculty in Fine Arts at IU Southeast
Robert M. Jennings Scholarship Give to Robert M. Jennings Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. The student recipient shall be students majoring in accounting.
Donald R. LaFollette Memorial Scholarship This account will support scholarships for students at Floyd Central and New Albany High School, on alternating years. Must have leadership ability; active involvement in high school activities of a leadership variety. Must have evidence that the individual has cared for and is concerned about helping others. Must plan to attend IU Southeast for at least two (2) semesters. Financial need or academic major or field of study not considered. Must have cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
Byron F. Laird Scholarship Give Now to Byron Laird Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Scholastic achievement will be a determining factor in the selection of a recipient, as will financial need. The recipient must have completed 24 hours of work or have freshmen status, and must be planning to attend Indiana University the following year. The recipient must attend the Southeastern Campus his/her first year, but consideration will be given to those students who have or are planning to transfer to another campus of Indiana University.
John Leuthart Memorial Scholarship Fund This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Residents of Clark or Floyd counties in Indiana. Enrolling full-time as a first year student at IU Southeast. High school GPA of 2.5 or above. Demonstrated financial need. Student must earn a 2.5 or better GPA to keep the scholarship for the second semester.
George F. Lumley, Jr. Memorial Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipients should have a 3.0 GPA or above in high school, and score 990 or above on the SAT or a minimum of 21 on the Act. Financial need will not be a consideration. Award will be renewable each year, if the student maintains a 3.3 GPA.
Indiana University Southeast Marketing Club Scholarship Give to Marketing Club Scholarship This account is used to support scholarship for deserving students who: must have a junior or senior status by the end of the semester, must have at least a 3.2 GPA, must be involved in at least two extracurricular activities on campus, must have at least 10 hours of accumulated volunteer community service work, must be a declared marketing major, must be a member of the IU Southeast Marketing Club, and must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours.
Angela Marie McIntosh Memorial Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipient must be a senior at IU Southeast, majoring in elementary education with a GPA of at least 2.5, and must maintain this GPA. Financial need will not be the determining factor, but will be considered.
Norman L. and Joyce A. Melhiser Fund This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships for non-traditional students in the accounting department. The scholarship will be given to a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting who have completed 40 credit hour and are 25 years old or older.
William Paul Moser Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipient must be a student enrolled at IU Southeast who plans to major in Education, and is a graduate of Clarksville High School.
IU Southeast Paul Kevin Nutter Memorial Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipient must be a incoming freshman from Floyd Central High School with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Scholarship requires full-time enrollment, may be renewable up to four years as long as the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Sam Peden Memorial Tennis Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. The recipient must be a student athlete enrolled, or anticipating enrollment, in the tennis program with a GPA of 2.5 or better. Financial need may be considered, but will not be the determining factor.
Donald E. and Elizabeth H. McMahel Music Scholarship Give to Donald E. and Elizabeth H. McMahel Music Scholarship Established in 2012 in honor of IU Southeast Concert Band director and legendary music educator, Donald McMahel, the Donald E.and Elizabeth H. McMahel Music Scholarship will support at least one deserving student who is majoring in music and will be based on scholarly and artistic performance, as defined by the Music Department Coordinator. The scholarship will be renewed up to four years as long as student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and the student remains in good standing with the Music Department. Your tax-deductible contribution will be used to support this scholarship.
James A. Poteet Memorial Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipients must be undergraduates who are enrolled in music at IU Southeast. They are expected to have and maintain a GPA of 3.0. Financial need will be considered, but is not the sole determining factor.
Ed Quinn Memorial Award Give Now to Ed Quinn Memorial Award This account is used to support student awards. Each recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled at IU Southeast. The fund will provide academic related activities such as travel to workshops, conventions, study abroad, library research, or internships based upon an application process.
Janis L. Richards Scholarship Give Now to Janis Richards Scholar This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipient must be a student enrolled at IU Southeast, with preference given to nursing students.
Dr. Richard E. Riehl Memorial Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. The scholarship is awarded on even numbered years to a senior majoring in education. On odd numbered years the scholarship is awarded to a senior in the medical field. Recipients must have a 3.0 GPA. Financial need will be considered but will not be a determining factor.
William H. Riggs Memorial Fund Give Now to William Riggs Memorial This account is used to support an award to a student majoring in accounting who has demonstrated proficiency in the study of taxation. The Dean of the School of Business and Economics in collaboration with the accounting faculty of the School will determine the award.
Nate G. Ruscoe Memorial Nursing Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Student will be an enrolled nursing major with a preference for a student pursuing a career in Neonatal Nursing or to any nurse planning to pursue pediatric nursing.
William F. & Martha J. Ryall Scholarship Give Now to William Riggs Memorial This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships to students enrolled at Indiana University Southeast and from counties within Indiana included in the Indiana University Southeast service area.
ike Spencer Memorial Scholarship Fund This account is used to support student awards. Recipient must be a declared Journalism major enrolled at least 6 hours with a minimum of 26 hours completed toward a degree. Preference shall be given to a non-traditional student over 22 years of age, with the highest GPA, and demonstrated financial need.
IU Southeast Student Scholarship Give Now to Student Scholarships This account is used to support undergraduate or graduate scholarships. This fund supports merit scholarships for students at IU Southeast.
IU Southeast Tau Kappa Epsilon Board of Directors Scholarship Give Now This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipients must be full-time students and members of TKE Fraternity.
IU Southeast Tau Kappa Epsilon Scholarship Give Now This account is used to support undergraduate and graduate scholarships. Recipients must be full-time undergraduates or full-time or part-time graduate students. Recipients must be active members of TKE Fraternity.
Uriah and Estella Thompson Scholarship Give now to the Thompson Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Special consideration will be given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or students with diverse cultural experiences. Recipients must have a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA, have completed at least 12 hours at IU Southeast, be a member of one registered student organization, and complete a 500-1,000 word essay “How my choice of major will impact my future career goals.”
Kate Torp Memorial Scholarship This account is used to support undergraduate scholarships. Recipients will be students with at least sophomore status, have completed the foundation classes required for a fine arts major, and have mantained a minimum of 3.3 GPA.
IU Southeast Dr. Sharron Wagoner Scholarship Fund This account is used to support an annual award to the outstanding foreign language student. Candidates must have completed two semesters of foreign language in order to qualify for the award.
