Internship Program Steps
For Credit
1.
Interview for internships.
2.
Accept an internship.
3.
Login to your CareerLink account and complete an “Internship Placement Card” and call the Career
Development Center (812) 941-2275 to schedule an appointment with the Internship Coordinator to
pick-up your Learning Agreement.
4.
Get Learning Agreement signed by faculty sponsor in your major ASAP.
5.
Return Learning Agreement (
signed by the employer, the faculty sponsor, and the student
)
to
Intern Coordinator ASAP.
6.
Pick up registration card from Internship Coordinator.
7.
Take registration card to Registrar’s Office – there is a deadline to register!
8.
Pay for the credits.
9.
Complete the Student AND Employer Midterm Evaluation forms during 7
th
week of internship.
These forms are available online through your CareerLink account. Call the Career Development
Center to schedule a short 15 minute appointment to discuss your evaluations.
Coordinator will forward copies of your evaluations to your faculty sponsor.
10.
Complete the Student AND Employer Final Evaluation forms during 14
th
week of internship. These
forms are available online through your CareerLink account. Call the Career Development Center to
schedule a short 15 minute appointment to discuss your evaluations.
Coordinator will forward copies of your evaluations to your faculty sponsor.
11.
Your faculty sponsor and the Internship Coordinator will EACH assign a grade for your internship.

Internship Coordinator will assign a PASS/FAIL grade for your internship.
