Student scholarships

allow talented,

hardworking individuals

from diverse backgrounds

to get the education they

seek and the professional

growth necessary to excel

after graduation.

IT STARTS

WITH YOU

GOAL #1: SUPPORT STUDENT SUCCESS

Our region needs professionals who can contribute to the

medical community, enrich the education of our youth,

foster a vibrant culture, and grow our economy. While

our students have the ambition and commitment to go

after these goals, they often lack the financial means.

Scholarship support can give deserving individuals the

chance to achieve a world-class education and pursue

their dreams, bettering their own lives and those in the

communities we hold most dear.

More than 80 percent of our graduates remain in the area.

When they can earn a degree at IU Southeast without the

burden of overwhelming debt, they can focus on growing

their own lives and their professional impact.

FOSTERING THOSE WHO WILL ADVANCE

SOUTHEAST INDIANA

Rich and Dawn Boling met here at IU Southeast. Rich,

a first-generation college graduate, is now a successful

communications executive and a Distinguished Alumni

Service Award winner. Dawn teaches at Highland Hills,

Indiana’s largest middle school, and was recently a top-10

finalist for Teacher of the Year in the state.

The Bolings represent just two examples of the many

alumni who draw on their IU degrees as they work

to elevate our local towns and cities. You can help us

give more people like them the chance to receive a

life-changing education—something they otherwise

couldn’t afford. Your gift toward student scholarships

will support the next generation of community leaders,

giving them access to premier teachers, researchers, and

opportunities—and setting them on the path to improve

society tomorrow.

“At IU Southeast, you get the

feeling that you can do anything.”
