Ideisha Bellamy, B. A. ’03
, was appointed by Kentucky
Governor Steve Bashear to the position of Division Director
for the CHFS Office of Inspector General Division of
Regulate Childcare.
Kristy Cambron, B. A. ’10
, signed a multi-book Christian
fiction publishing contract with Thomas Nelson Publishers.
Her debut novel, “The Butterfly and the Violin” (on prisoner
camp art of Auschwitz) will be in bookstores on July 15, 2014.
Kristy has scheduled appearances/signings at RT Booklovers’
Convention in New Orleans (May 2014) and the ALA annual
conference in Las Vegas (June 2014).

, recently earned her
CFRE credential – Certified Fundraising Executive.
Milton Dohoney, B. A. ’77
, was recently named the
Assistant City Manager for the City of Phoenix, Ariz.
Theresa Frey, B. S. ’87
, recently published a book, “The
NewWorld of Work, from the Cube to the Cloud.”

celebrating the two-year anniversary of their e-commerce
business,
, which focuses on
breastfeeding clothes, labor and delivery gowns and much

Jeffrey Lyons, B. A. ’83
, was named 2014 Physician of the
Year by Doctors Hospital of Sarasota.
Timothy McDonald, B. S. ’81, M. S. ’01
, is currently
working on his fourth film. His third film, Behind Dark
Glasses, focuses on the agents that protected JFK. Behind
Dark Glasses ran on KET in January. 2014 and has since
been picked up for national syndication.
Leah Phillips-Black, B. S. ’90
, recently became a Board of
Trustees member to the American Board of Neuroscience
Nursing (ABNN).
Criteria
Applicant must be a member in good standing and active
with the IU Southeast Student Alumni Association (SAA)
OR will become a member in conjunction with this
application.
Applicant must be a current undergraduate student
enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 academic credit hours
per semester) and have an IU cumulative GPA of 3.0 or
higher.
Preference will be given to applicants who are planning to
receive their degree at IU Southeast.
Preference will be given to applicants who are on schedule
to graduate in four years.
Preference will be given to an applicant that has a family
member who is both an IU Southeast alumnus and a paid
member of the IU Alumni Association.
Awardees will be recognized at an IU Southeast Alumni
Board Meeting.
The IU Southeast Alumni Association will award $25,000 in student
scholarships for the 2014-15 academic year.
Financial need will be considered as measured by FAFSA
(Free Application for Federal Student Aid), but will not be
the sole determining factor.
Applicant must submit a written essay (500 word
minimum) answering the following two questions:
How would the IU Southeast Alumni Scholarship benefit
you?
What would you like the Alumni Scholarship Committee
to know about you?
