Welcome to the General Studies Program at IU Southeast! We offer flexible programming for adult students who want to complete a college degree, while balancing school with work, family and other responsibilities.

Whether you have started and stopped, left college for a family emergency, military service, financial necessity or any other reason, or if you simply couldn't decide what to major in, we can transform your array of college credits—and sometimes even the skills you've acquired from life experience and/or testing—into a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Studies (B.G.S.), either wholly online, face-to-face, or a combination.

If your career goal would profit from acquiring expertise in safety, you can earn an IU Bachelor's Degree in Applied Health Science with a Safety Major, entirely on our campus.

In addition, we also offer a number of useful minors or certificates from within our programming or from other IU Southeast programs to help you expand your existing skill set to advance in your current employment or blaze a new trail for yourself in another area.
