Delivering Video
Kaltura is a cloud-based video management system that can be used for storing, publishing, and streaming videos, video collections, and other types of media. The system works with Canvas and accounts are available to Indiana University students, faculty, and staff.
Kaltura offers mechanical closed captioning at no cost.
Kaltura now offers video quizzing, where intermittent formative questions can be added to pause at certain places in any video. These can record grades which can be sent to the gradebook.

Instructors can use the Rich Content Editor to record a video. they can record media for any length of time, but shorter video recordings are recommended. If your video is longer than 15 minutes, you may want to consider recording and uploading using an external provider. Longer media lengths require a longer rendering time and may be interrupted without a stable internet connection.
