What is the cure for boredom and stagnation? New experiences that help us expand our knowledge, skills, and horizons of understanding. IU Southeast is committed to using its facilities, faculty, and resources to provide Lifelong Learning offerings for the community and region.

Due to the pandemic, many of our learning and growth experiences have been isolated and online. IU Southeast is excited to offer in-person Lifelong Learning programs beginning this January.

Here are opportunities to give yourself or others the gift of experiences, and perhaps building in time for creativity or for peaceful meditation will fit well into your New Year's Resolutions. Please explore our initial Lifelong Learning offerings.

The Lifelong Learning program retains the right to cancel a class if there is insufficient enrollment, in which case all fees will be refunded.

Past courses offered by the Lifelong Learning program included:

Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness

Participants learned to practice meditation and mindfulness and apply it to their everyday lives.

Bourbon - An Introduction for the Inquisitive Drinker

Award-winning journalist Susan Reigler introduced participants to the fundamentals of bourbon and guided them in weekly tastings.

Arts Spa Saturdays

In our busy lives, we often overlook the importance of creative time. Here is an opportunity to set aside one hour per month to participate in a variety of art forms led by teaching artists.
