Musical Seasons for Kids

Let’s celebrate your preschooler with music at IU Southeast! As your child’s independence continues to evolve, this class will tap into their love of the outdoors and help further develop their listening skills, self-expression through music, language, and play.

Our classes will also honor the essential bond between child and caregiver. Due to the nature of this, a parent and or guardian must attend every class with their child. We will be singing and moving as we explore the four seasons through musical instruments and storytelling. Our class will foster a community that is warm and inviting for you and your child. Upon enrolling, you will receive a CD, parent activity book, and an instrument or scarf to play with at home.

Julia Truman
Julia earned her degree at Westminster Choir College. She is a former instructor of both the Instrumental and Choral Arts in the middle and high school age range. Her hope in launching this program at IU Southeast is to bring the joy and connection of music to more children and adults.
