Refunds and cancellations

Refund policy

• 100% of tuition is refunded if notification is received five (5) business days before the first class.
• No refunds after the course begins.
• No refunds for supplies.
• All refund requests must be sent via e-mail to lifelong@ius.edu.
  • A $30 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds.

Lifelong Learning retains the right to cancel a class if there is insufficient enrollment, in which case all fees will be refunded.

Should a private lesson instructor be unable to complete a semester of lessons, we will make every effort to find another instructor. If that is not possible, all fees from remaining lessons will be refunded (minus a $30 administrative fee).

Refunds due to the pandemic

If public health guidance requires us to cancel classes, our alternative/cancellation plan will require us to either cancel the course in its entirety and offer a full tuition refund or pro-rate tuition for any partially canceled courses.

If a person is required to self-quarantine due to pandemic, a virtual experience may be given at the instructor’s discretion.
