Due to COVID-19, all New Student Orientation activities, including registration for Spring 2021 classes, will be delivered virtually via Canvas and Zoom.

Yes, we still want you to register for an orientation date.

An email confirmation is distributed following online registration.

Our goal is the help you make the transition to IU Southeast as smooth as possible. Orientation provides you with information about academics, campus resources, services and support systems, and much more. You will be introduced to current students, other incoming students, and your academic advisor.

No, orientation is not mandatory. However, we highly encourage you to go through the virtual orientation as there is a lot of important information on how to register for classes, how to receive your CrimsonCard, and how to setup an appointment with your academic advisor. All the information in the modules is designed to help you succeed at IU Southeast.

We are not hosting campus visits at this time. However, virtual tours, phone calls, and other alternative means are available.

Yes. On your registered orientation date, you will get a link to meet other incoming students and orientation leaders. This is your chance to talk to others and ask questions. You will receive more information about this via your IU email.
