Access Your Network ID

You need to create your network identification user name and password to access computing services at IU Southeast. To set up your account, please go to the Account Management System. You will need your University Identification Number listed on your Letter of Admission. Your network identification will enable you to access information from One.IU, which will help you manage your academic life including personal information, academic services, registration and financial aid. If you need help setting up your network identification user name, please call (812) 941-2447. PLEASE NOTE: If you set up an IU guest account to check your admission status, you must set up a new IU computer account in order to register for classes and manage your student record.

Apply for Financial Aid

Help fund your college education by applying for financial aid. Learn more about your funding options and important deadlines by visiting the Office of Financial Aid.

Apply for Campus Housing

Learn more about our modern residence halls and get an application at the Office of Residence Life and Housing.

Register for Orientation

You will be invited to a mandatory orientation session where you will learn about academic programs, student services, and out-of-classroom involvement opportunities. You will also register for classes during your orientation session. Invitations will begin going out in March, and sessions will be offered throughout the summer. The earlier you attend, the sooner you can secure your schedule at IU Southeast!

View Transfer Credit Report (TCR) & Academic Advsing Report (AAR)

You can see how your credit has transferred to IU Southeast and how it applies to our degree programs. You can access your Transfer Credit Report (TCR) & Academic Advising Report (AAR) after setting up your network ID and password. Log onto One.IU and search for "Transfer Credits," or "Academic Advising Report." It is helpful to become familiar with both reports and discuss them with your Academic Advisor.

You can learn more about the AAR on the Registrar's website. If you have questions about the transfer credit report, please call the Admissions Office at (812) 941-2212. Questions about how your credits will apply toward your IU degree should be directed to your academic advisor.

Take Placement Tests

Newly admitted undergraduate students at Indiana University Southeast must complete placement tests in reading, writing, mathematics, and modern languages prior to enrolling in classes. If you have transferred completed coursework in these areas do not need to test (see your Transfer Credit Report). Visit the Student Success Center for placement test dates and times.

Meet with Your Advisor and Register for Classes

Call the academic school listed on your Letter of Admission to schedule an advising appointment. Registration for transfer students begins in March and runs through August. Please note that your university computing accounts must be created 24 hours before your first advising appointment; your placement tests must also be completed before your appointment.

Purchase a Parking Permit

Parking permits may be purchased when registering for classes. More information about parking permits is available from the University Police office in University Center South, Room 027.
