Counseling and Psychological Services

Our services are available to all students (part or full time) at no fee

Our counselors are trained and have specific skills related to working with college students. Our staff includes two psychologists and a licensed clinical social worker, as well as masters level and doctoral level graduate clinicians. For students in a mental health crisis, please contact IU Southeast Police Department at (812) 941-2400 or the Regional Crisis and Information Line (24 hours) at (800) 221-0446.

Services are confidential and include:

  • Individual Therapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Relationship Counseling (Couples or Family)
  • Care Management Services
  • Outreach and Education
  • Faculty & Staff Consultation
  • Referral for specialized services, such as substance use treatment and/or medical evaluations

TimelyCare

As an additional option to IU Southeast CAPS, Indiana University has partnered with TimelyCare to provide students with additional options for mental health services. TimelyCare offers 24/7 access to telehealth counseling and wellness resources at no cost! These services are available to any currently enrolled student at IU Southeast.
