What and Where is the Physical Plant?
The Physical Plant offices are located in the Service Building at the north end of campus. The Physical Plant Department exists to serve the students, faculty and staff by maintaining an environment conducive to learning and efficient operations.
The Physical Plant Department is dedicated to keeping the physical structures and grounds of the University well maintained and attractive, with its goal to provide each student, faculty and staff member a safe, pleasant and functional environment.
This web site has been assembled to better serve you and acquaint members of the University community with the organization of the department and the services it provides. The Physical Plant Office has initiated several energy conservation measures and programs in an effort to reduce utility costs across campus.
These programs include a wide variety of initiatives from replacing exterior lighting to redeploying of the cleaning staff. Everyone has a role in energy conservation and can help to achieve campus-wide goals.
