Every year, Leadership Programs sets aside a portion of money to help fund IU Southeast's students to attend leadership conferences throughout the United States. Whether you need help with registration costs, hotel, rental car, or gas, we try and help in any way we can. Students are asked to complete a Leadership Funding Request on Grenadier Central under the Leadership Development portal.
After attending the conference, students will be asked to write a summary of their experience and how providing this experience benefited the attendee as well as the campus community
Guidelines for Funding: Individual students or a student organization may be awarded up to $200 to help aid in the costs of conference attendance. There are 6 awards that are to be provided on a first come first serve basis. Requests must be submitted to Campus Life at least 30 days prior to the start of the conference. You will receive notification on the approval or denial of a funding request within 3 business days from the date the form was submitted. A student, student organization or representative from an organization is only allowed to request funding one time within an academic year.
