Angelika Hoelger is an assistant professor of history at Indiana University Southeast. Her research and teaching interests concern the social and cultural history of modern Europe with specialization in modern Germany. She is particularly interested in the history of popular and mass culture, urban history, and the history of consumerism. Her research also addresses workers’ culture, the history of everyday life, and questions pertaining to mentality and morality.
