You are a returning student if you attended IU Southeast previously, and now intend to re-enroll for an upcoming semester.
Before you take your next steps, be sure to become familiar with the information in the Steps for All Students section.
You need to create your network identification user name and password to access computing services at IU Southeast. To set up your account, please go to the Account Management System. You will need your University Identification Number listed on your Letter of Admission. Your network identification will enable you to access information from OneStart, which will help you manage your academic life including personal information, academic services, registration and financial aid. If you need help setting up your network identification user name, please call (812) 941-2447. PLEASE NOTE: If you set up an IU guest account to check your admission status, you must set up a new IU computer account in order to register for classes and manage your student record.
Be sure there are no academic or financial holds that will prevent you from registering. You can check to see if there are any holds on your record by logging into OneStart, and following this path: Student Self Service>Student Information>Holds on My Record. If you have holds on your record, you can contact the office listed in the hold for additional information. You may not register for classes until all holds have been removed.
Learn more about your academic progress through reports that are available in OneStart. You can access your Transfer Credit Report (TCR) & Academic Advising Report (AAR) after setting up your network ID and password. Log onto OneStart and follow this path: Self-Service (on the menu bar on the left) > Go to Student Center > My Academics and Grades > View Academic Credit Report. It is helpful to become familiar with both reports and discuss them with your Academic Advisor.
You can learn more about the AAR on the Registrar's website. If you have questions about the transfer credit report, please call the Admissions Office at 812-941-2212. Questions about how your credits will apply toward your IU degree should be directed to your academic advisor.
Schedule an appointment to meet with your Academic Advisor so that you can discuss your path to graduation, and confirm that you are enrolling in appropriate classes. The phone number of your academic department is contained in your Letter of Admission; call this number to schedule your advising appointment.
Use OneStart to register for classes. Contact you Academic Advisor if you have any questions or concerns.
