In this class we will cut through the mystique surrounding the art of acting and apply practical methods that lead to captivating, believable performances. We will explore monologues, scenes, and group exercises to inspire actor transformation that feels meaningful and honest. Physical action, imagination, text analysis, and improv will be engaged to strengthen students' understanding of character development. Students will also learn ways to healthily sustain themselves in the industry with the ability to deliver a strong and consistent performance each time.
