Curriculum Materials Center

The IU Southeast Curriculum Materials Center is in LB330 and houses two distinct collections: the Center for Cultural Resources, and CULAB, the Library’s collection of children's and young adult literature and resources for education majors and community members.

The Center for Cultural Resources is a collection of resource kits, each organized to teach a core of 12 universal themes on unity and diversity. Many of the kits have an international focus on a particular geographic region or individual country, others focus on a particular time period or ethnic group, e.g. the Amish. The kits are available for checkout after receiving a brief orientation and borrower's card. For more information on orientations or reserving a kit, please e-mail

The CULAB collection contains a sampling of award-winning children's and young adult literature, as well as resource kits, DVDs and other materials to help educators design curriculum for their students. To find Curriculum Materials Center resources in IUCAT you can filter your results by Location (Childrens, Curriculum) after conducting your initial search, or begin your search with the Location set to CULAB – General Collections.
