Reference Services at the IU Southeast Library are provided by seven full-time faculty librarians. Our services include:

  • Individual online research assistance for students, faculty, and staff through chat, email, or videoconferencing, during reference service hours. Librarians will not be providing face-to-face in person services in Fall 2020. Check out our Contact Us page for more details on how to reach a librarian and when we are staffing the virtual reference desk.
  • Individual research consultations, provided virtually by appointment, through Book A Librarian
  • Collaboration with teaching faculty to provide instruction in information literacy. Contact Maria Accardi, Coordinator of Instruction and Reference, for more information, at All information literacy library instruction will be provided online in Fall 2020.
