Ask a Librarian

Have a question? You can reach an IU Southeast Library Reference Librarian through email using the Ask a Librarian form. A librarian will respond as soon as possible during our virtual reference hours.

If you would like one-on-one assistance with a Reference Librarian, you can Book a Librarian.

Room Reservations for Group Study Rooms

Group study rooms can be reserved for single users only for quiet study. Please use the Ask a Librarian form to make a room reservation for 302 or 320. Let us know the date, time, and room preference in your email. Note that the 1st floor is closed until further notice; only 320 and 302 on the third floor are available for reservation at this time.

Renew My Books

Except for Center for Cultural Resource items, IU Southeast students may renew materials online via IUCAT, by calling us at (812) 941-2485, in person, or by mail.

Reference Services

Librarians at IU Southeast are here to help you. Learn more about how you can get in touch with us on our Reference Services page.

Interlibrary Loan

As a service to IU Southeast faculty, staff and students, the IU Southeast Library will borrow materials from other libraries. Learn how to make a request for a book or other resource, and find links to our interlibrary loan policies at the Interlibrary Loan page.

Request Delivery

IU Southeast students, faculty and staff may place requests online via IUCAT for delivery of materials to the IU Southeast Library. Materials that are checked out may not be requested. Requests for delivery usually take 4-7 working days to complete.

Materials from the IUB Law Library, IUB Kinsey Library, Lilly Library, CEDIR Library, Archives of Traditional Music Library, Cyclotron Library, University Archives Library, La Rue Carter Hospital, and the Bloomington Residence Halls are excluded. In addition, some materials (i.e. reference books, other non-circulating collections and short term loan collections) from other libraries may be excluded.

For more information, visit the Request Delivery information page.
